Rates: Our rates are in CDN funds plus taxes and are for double or single occupancy per room. Cameron's Cove is a seasonal B & B open from April 1st to October 31st every year. We require a major credit card to reserve your room. You can pay with an alternative method such as cash, debit or credit at check-in. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express at this time. Two night stays or more receive a complimentary bottle of either red or white wine.
Reservations: Reservations can be made by completing the secure online reservation form, by email, or by calling or texting us at 226-222-0607. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your accommodation needs. We recommend reservations be made well in advance if you wish to visit on preferred days or in a preferred room.
Deposits: When choosing your stay with us you can pay later upon checking in or reserve your room with a deposit. Your card will be charged 25% of your reservation which is non-refundable in the case of a short notice cancellation. This deposit will be taken off the amount owing on your room upon check out.
Cancellations/No Shows: In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel or change your reservation, we ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice. Due to the small size of our seasonal B&B, cancellations and no shows affect us significantly. Informing us with plenty of notice allows us to rent out the room again and avoids the forfeit of your deposit. No shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
Check-In: Check-in is from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm (unless other arrangements have been made) and check-out is at 11am. Please contact us if there has been a significant change to your arrival time. It is important to us to be there in person to welcome you upon your arrival.
Rooms: Each room has a maximum occupancy of 2 guests. We do not offer cots or roll away beds. Only registered guests are allowed to stay at the B&B. No food, body oils or open flames are allowed in the room, and indoor shoes or slippers are required. Please do not bring coolers inside to prevent moisture and water damage. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen that you are more than welcome to use.
Breakfast: We are happy to accommodate any diet restrictions or food allergies. Please inform us in advance if this is the case for you. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. Breakfast is a great time to get to know the other guests as well as your hosts. We are more than happy to provide recommendations on our favourite local attractions. There are separate dining areas for each guest as well if you’d like to enjoy your breakfast in a quieter space.
Children: We are an adult-only B&B for 18 years of age or older. If you wish to rent all three rooms at once, children are welcome in this family atmosphere. All three rooms have a maximum occupancy of 6 people.
Pets: Due to the possible allergies of any of our guests we are pet-free here at Cameron’s Cove. If we can recommend a nearby pet resort, we would be happy to do so. Our family dog lives in the hosts’ quarters, which are completely separate from our guests, and he does not have free run of the yard.
Smoking: Absolutely no smoking is permitted in our building. We ask that you are courteous to others guests if you wish to smoke outside in our designated areas.
Parking: The driveway has space for 4 cars but this may result in blocking some guests in. Parking is available on the streets but only from March 16th-November 14th to prevent a municipal ticket.
Keys: Each guest is provided with a key for their room, as well as a key to the front door so you may come and go as you please while your personal items are safe and private. For security reasons it is important to return the keys at the designated area or a $25 fee may apply.
Damages: We have worked very hard to make Cameron’s Cove as inviting, comfortable and beautiful as possible, and we understand normal wear and tear. However, you are responsible for any damage you may cause to the property and your card will be charged if deemed necessary.
